Mastercard solution implementing HCE contactless payments in a mobile phone

Mastercard Cloud-Based Payments (MCBP) is the Mastercard implementation of Host-based Card Emulation (HCE) contactless payments in a mobile phone. It allows to perform contactless payments through the NFC interface without the need for a secure element (e.g. a SIM card).
MCBP helps you to build a proprietary mobile app that lets consumers use their mobile devices to make contactless payments.

Wallet Server connected to MDES

To offer an NFC issuer wallet to consumers, issuers need to connect the NFC issuer wallet to MDES. MDES will manage the digitization process of the consumer PAN (Primary Account Number) and send the digital credentials to the NFC issuer wallet. Wallet providers can also connect to MDES using a Mastercard® Engage–qualified partner.
